SICEM SAGA LAUNCHES A WIDE RANGE OF NEW PRODUCTS
High Bulk pulp, for Glassine, unbleached CMP for fluting
Sicem Saga has launched a wide range of innovative products. The initiative is set up with a view to technological updating and with the prospect of following an increasingly large audience of customers, always considering the long tradition that distinguishes our historical qualities of CMP. The new range includes:

High bulk pulp (HB) , with brightness 80-85 and bulk 2.3-2.8 used in printing and writing papers, and for natural or coated board. This product has found its place especially in Asia, where BCTMP is used very often to increase the thickness of the paper.

Unbleached fluting and semi-chemical pulp (SE 50/38 HT), intended to replace a part of the waste paper, which is in short supply on the market and is offered at increasingly high prices.

Pulp for Glassine (SE 85/36) with particularly low scattering values, also intended for Yankee or calendered papers, where a high transparency of the finished product is required.
With this initiative, the types of CMP that Sicem Saga can offer to customers have substantially doubled, being now more than 15 different pulps, a wide range of products that is unmatched by BCTMP producers.
